Hey everyone, great news!

1. I got selected for a Bookbub Featured Deal in the Romantasy category in the US, and the 99 cent promo goes out tomorrow. The discount will last for one full week, and I have scheduled a promo with ENT to come out Tuesday and a promo with Fussy Librarian to come out on Thursday. I'll release a before and after of all the stats on my social media pages to show how the book performs. (Got my fingers crossed!)

2. I updated my book's description. I took a month to study how the best-selling authors on Amazon wrote theirs, and revised what I had too many times for me to count. (It was at least 40 or 50 different versions). I ended up taking the best from each, and plugged everything together to create something I'm really proud of. The old description felt too passive, and felt like it wasn't like all the other descriptions out there. This one, on the other hand, is direct, active, and far more gripping than what I had before.

3. If you haven't already seen it on instagram, I'm running a giveaway for a signed copy of my book for those in the US. I'll do international giveaways, likely for just the ebook, in the future. This current giveaway ends tomorrow.

4. I have released Chapter 1 of Book 2 onto my Dropbox. It's still in rough draft form, but you can read it right now. You can either access it through the same Dropbox link you got when you signed up, or reply to this email and I'll send you the link. If you can't find it, please hit me up on any of my social media pages and I'll help you. You get to see Kala's reunion with her mother, and the ending of Book 2 Chapter 1 changes everything. It makes Kala's new ability to speak with any dragon crucial for her survival.

5. Book 2 is about 70% of the way done. I started working a part time job back in September, and it's allowed me to pay for ads, Book 2's cover, and it has taken a lot of financial stress off my back. All that means more time for writing! Book 2's cover will start being worked on by February 10th. Stay tuned for updates on that.

6. I will likely be affected by this winter storm in the US. They're forecasting ice, and downed power lines here in SC. I'm set with supplies, and I have loaded my Kindle with as many books as it can hold. I hope that I'll still have power to announce the winner for the giveaway tomorrow.

Lastly, thank you so much for your support. I have great things coming soon, and I know you're going to looove Book 2! There's so much going on in there, and Kala and Soren are going to have to make some terrible decisions. (Yes, this is an HEA series, so don't worry too much!) I'll have more giveaways coming soon, and perhaps even more rough draft chapters of Book 2. Might even share snippets of scenes in later chapters! I don't want to spoil too much, but... all I'm going to say at the moment is that Euproxis is not who he seems. He's known as something else in Book 2, something far worse than just a demon; the Tavarians have been manipulated to believe a false truth. The Delrians enlighten a lot of things.
